If you are a classic rock fan you really should check this out because Howard is booking some dynamite bands, most of which are considered the best of their breed. Thursday, May 25th featured <a highly touted and reputable tribute headliner> who put on a strong show... But as strong as they were, they were no match for their opener, Midnight Rider, a tribute to the Allman Brothers. This newly formed band of very accomplished musicians covered the Allmans perfectly. I swear these guys didn’t seem to miss a note, both instrumentally and vocally. And I’ll tell you, more than once I have covered Gregg Allman Band shows where even they didn’t sound as good as Midnight Rider."
